July - September 2008: Charity Auction for  "Bambini nel Deserto"
 

Last 23rd July, on the occasion of a fashion defilé in Castel Sant'Angelo (Rome), it was started the Charity Auction for "Bambini nel Deserto", organized from "Oro di Roma". The object of the auction is a beautiful jewel made by Daniela Allega Fuciarelli.

The auction will be divided in two parts, the first, that took place in Rome during the fashion defilé of the 23rd July, where the public had the possibility to make an offer in a closed envelope and to deliver it to a legal. The second part will continue then with the same formalities, during the Gala performance in Chicago in the month of September and October. During the conclusive evening, the notary, after the scrutiny of all the offers, will award the jewel to the best bidder and will donate the check to BnD.

Base of the auction is 5.000 Euro and the proceeds of the auction will be completely devolved to "Bambini nel Deserto".

Description of the jewel:
Choker necklace with central rosette realized by the jeweler Daniela Allega Fuciarelli.
The composition is realized, for that that it pertains to the necklace, with Tridacna Gigas, the central rosette and the side pences, they are entirely in 18 kts white diamond gold. Stones: Tanzaniti Lights.

The event "Oro di Roma" will take place, during the month of September (from 17 to September 22 ), in Chicago where will take part authorities, institutions and local contractors which can offer their contribution in this race of solidarity whose aim will be the contribution to the realization of a sanitary structure in Burkina Faso.
